Meet Our Dentists

Stephen Phillips, D.D.S.
Dr. Stephen Phillips graduated cum laude from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1979. He was awarded the Georgetown University award for outstanding performance in fixed prosthodontics. After graduation he worked for a prominent Manhattan Dentist for two years specializing in full mouth reconstruction. He then decided to open a practice in his hometown and has been at that location for 28 years.
Dr. Phillips maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association, Nassau County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is a former Clinical Instructor at Mount Sinai Hospital and Ross Nash D.D.S. seminars. Hobbies include golf, skiing and spending time with his wife, three children, and their golden retriever.

Peter Barkoff, D.D.S.
Dr. Peter Barkoff attended Penn State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology while playing soccer on scholarship for the Nittany Lions.  Dr. Barkoff went on to receive his degree from New York University College of Dentistry.  He then opted to continue his training and give back to our country’s veterans while doing his residency training at the VA hospital in Northport, NY.  While at the VA hospital Dr. Barkoff received extensive training in Prosthetic and Implant Dentistry.  Dr. Barkoff continues to stay on the cutting edge of Dentistry and technology through continuing education courses.  It’s important to Dr. Barkoff that his patients receive the highest quality of care, with the newest techniques and equipment, while feeling comfortable and at home in his office.
